Björn Borg, 26
He started while still in his teens and dominated the tennis league during the 70s. Borg took home 11 Grand Slams and a total of 61 titles on the court. He looked set for greatness. In 1983, however, he shocked the sporting world by announcing his retirement from the sport. Björn claimed fatigue as his reason to quit the sport.
