Nicolas Almagro (13-time ATP Champion) Ends His Career

Spanish tennis player Nicolas Almagro gave shocking tennis news by declaring that this week’s Murcia Challenger would be his last tournament. Almagro played a total of five matches last year but lost all of them.

Almagro won the 2008 Davis Cup with the help of his Spanish team and secured the quarter-final at the London Olympics, 2012. The 33-year-old achieved his ranking of No. 48 in the doubles career-high in 2011.

Off-Court Issues Are Affecting Novak Djokovic

Federer Smashes Past John Isner For Acquiring 4th Miami Title

Here is delightful tennis news for Roger Federer’s fans.  Federer won by 20/20 on his first serve and dropped just three on his second delivery.  John Isner never had a chance on Federer’s serve and was struggling to create any pressure on him.

At 3-4 in the second, John needed treatment for his left foot; then at 4-5, he was hunched over, hobbling and visibly in pain. However, still, he refused to quit and played through until he was unable to continue the match any further.

Coach Praises Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic And Nadal

In an interview with ATP Tennis Radio, Paul Annacone, former Roger Federer’s coach commented on him, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal dominating the tour year.

He commented that the amazing thing to him was that they could play consistently well.

Paul emphasized that all three of them are very solid in almost every match. He also said that it was terrific for him to see all of them persevere and level up in very challenging conditions.

Ex-Coach Files A Lawsuit Against World No. 1

One of the most shocking tennis news came earlier this year when Naomi Osaka’s ex-coach, Christophe Jean filed a case to the court against her. He claimed Osaka’s family owes him money for coaching Osaka and her sister Mari during their teenage years. At the time he said he had signed a one-page contract with Osaka’s father. The document allegedly claims that he is entitled to 20% of the prize money earned by  the Osaka sisters for an ‘indefinite period.’ In exchange, he would give free coaching.

Naomi Osaka Signs Deal With Nike

In one of the latest tennis news, Naomi is set to wear Nike gear at the Stuggart Grand Prix later in April.

Osaka told that she is proud to be a member of the Nike family and is excited about all of the opportunities Nike is yet to offer.
